Thank you for stopping by A Mia Design. My name is Maria or Mia and I am the designer and creator behind all you see and read. I am a wife and mother of two four legged babies. Since I was a little girl I have always been creative and love making things sparkle. I have been making Jewelry for years now and have loved beads, stones, and gems for as long as I can remember. I put a lot of me in every piece I do. My designs are influenced by today’s fashions, classic timeless trends, and my own fashion or what I like to call “Something I can throw on without thinking too hard.” 

I recently started making more and more Jewelry because I need to feel happy about something I’m doing in my life. Since I was 20 I have been in a battle with my health. At first I had college to distract me and give me a goal to work for but now in my 30s I was feeling a little lost. So I turned to something that has always put a smile on my face and that is finding beads and turning them into something I can share with others.

Now I have all these great pieces and this is my way of sharing them with you. I have created this blog to share my thoughts, feelings, and memories on whatever comes to mind (mostly movies, fashion, and ideas on how to make things in your life a little prettier) with anyone who wants to take the time and read. 

I want to thank all my Family and Friends for all their Love and Support throughout the years and an even bigger Thank You to my husband for loving me for me.
